Huron Digital Pathology announced as newest councilor member of the Digital Pathology Association

Huron Digital Pathology is pleased to announce our official membership with the Digital Pathology Association (DPA). As a member, we join a group of like-minded pathologists, scientists, technologists, and industry members working together to make digital pathology a ubiquitous reality. As a non-profit, the DPA’s mission is to “facilitate education and awareness of digital pathology applications in healthcare and life sciences. Members are encouraged to share best practices and promote the use of the technology among colleagues in order to demonstrate efficiencies, share knowledge and its ultimate benefits to patient care.”

The DPA is celebrating its own growth with the addition of
Canadian-based Huron Digital Pathology as its newest Councilor Member. As a leader within
the field of digital pathology, Huron joins other prominent industry leaders in their support of the
DPA and the Pathology Visions Conference as it works toward widespread adoption.

“As the practice of pathology transitions to digital workflows, the Digital Pathology Association
plays a critical role in advocacy, education and awareness,” said Patrick of Huron Digital
Pathology. “Therefore, I am delighted that Huron Digital Pathology has joined the DPA and is
supporting the Pathology Visions conference. I am particularly looking forward to contributing at
the board level, providing a voice for growing, innovative companies.”
